Investment opportunities of the region were presented to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in Kazakhstan Francis Etienne at the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Zhambyl region.
The meeting was attended by the senior management of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Zhambyl region, Akim of Taraz city Nurzhan Kalenderov, heads of departments, financial institutions, and regional businessmen. The French side was presented by representatives of major French companies operating in Kazakhstan, Director of the Association of French business "Business France” Laurent Damas, employees of the French Consulate, including a representative of the consulate in our region Syrym Adambaev.
The Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the region Karlygash Aralbekova in her speech emphasized the priority for areas of economy - tourism and agriculture.
"The presentation of the map of business development will be held in the region soon. This online resource will be easy to use for investors, as they can find all the necessary information about business in Zhambyl region, including possible projects for implementation", - she said. The Director of the Chamber of entrepreneurs noted the urgent need to build wholesale and distribution logistics centers in the region.
Acting head of the department of business and industrial-innovative development Olzhas Agabekov presented the investment projects of Zhambyl businessmen. In addition, projects of JSC "SEC" Taraz " were presented to the guests.
"We will study all projects and in six months we will come up with concrete proposals for business", - concluded Francis Etienne, adding that the businessmen with their ideas and suggestions can contact the consular representative in the region Syrym Adambaev.
